I am a scientific manager responsible for the molecular hemato-oncology laboratory at LHUB-ULB.

I validate and analyse the results of molecular biology experiments for the diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of blood cancers. My work also consist in the development of new experiments in the laboratory, with a particular focus on the bioinformatics pipelines.

I keep some research interests in text-mining improving data curation, specifically in the field of genetic diseases, with the main focus on:

• showing the interest of using active learning.
• extracting biomedical relation from scientific articles.
• advancing the study on oligogenic diseases.
